course South Africans prefer a shortened version of practically
everything, so that meaning was transformed into a slightly
irreverent way to tell someone to P*** Off ! We also have no
idea how that transformation happened, but we like it!
We
use it especially when someone says something that we absolutely
do not agree with. However, we will also swiftly add that we
use it quietly to ourselves while smiling politely.
